This book contains a dirty-talking, morally grey hero, strong language, sexual content, and dark themes. While there were parts of it I wasn't a huge fan about (I saw that plot twist coming a mile away), it made me completely fall in love with the marriage of convenience trope. The city of Montardor is Zeno's personal chessboard and he will stop at nothing to make me his queen. I was absolutely obsessed with Trapped With You and can safely say the same for the second book in the Sins of Montardor series.

Another thing i loved about this book was Darla and Ella’s friendship and how even after all these years they are still the best of friends and the way that they are both always there for each other through every small matter, and their friendship is literally another reason why i love this book so much. keeps a comfortable pair of shoes in his car at all times when you want to change out of your heels.i adore marzy and everything she does, this was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and it did not miss! I loved reading the small details of all the side characters and the way that they all grew up and all the things that they achieved, which aren’t mentioned in their own respective books.
