There are certain parts which show vividly how parents restrict their kids of certain activities just because they're of a certain gender. You get a few descriptions of the islands and sea life and wind and rain. But largely it’s about the personalities of the fellow light house keepers and what they watched on television.Dr Chanda Prescod-Weinstein’s debut book is two things: a journey into the world of cosmology and particle physics, and a refreshingly eye-opening insight into the too-often exclusionary arena that is science.
