About this deal

One day a coeliac guest was discussing her eating challenges with me and asked if had I ever heard of The Life Changing Bread? No, I hadn't, but I was curious to learn more about it, so I looked up a few recipes on the internet and started playing around with some recipes! To contribute to our community and society based on our company’s name, “Communication through bread,” we often offer our products to the community, including after natural disasters. We believe these activities raise awareness of our bread’s deliciousness and long shelf life, and the recognition of us as a specialized manufacturer of long-life bread. It's 100% gluten-free (choose certified gluten-free oats) which for most of us is ok, but for Coeliac's, it's life-changing. I once saw tinned cheese for sale in Britain - the spreadable sort - in ring-pull cans. I understand that butter can also be bought like this in some countries. It sounds a bit dramatic that a simple loaf of bread could change your life; everything we eat every day changes our life in some way. It either promotes or demotes our health, therefore impacting our lives in every way.

It has instructions about using it for toast as it is, or microwaving it for a few seconds then letting it cool before using as sandwiches. I've tried it before and after zapping it in the microwave and would happily eat it straight from the bag.

If you do a Google for "preserving butter" you'll find references to storing butter in an Irish bog for years .... and an American Civil War description of how to store butter under brine. Both methods have the same rationale - to keep air away from the butter. I also found the beginning of a reference to preserving butter in India (Assam), a method which is also based on the exclusion of air. I have found a product which I thought might be of some use to both Jesters and other long-distance sailors and thought I'd pass on the info. Sesame seeds have been used in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. To gain their nutritional benefits, you need to consume substantial amounts on a regular basis. I make my own sesame milk regularly and use it in my smoothies, overnight oats, chia puddings, and porridges. I also make a Sesame Gomashio seasoning which I sprinkle on almost any savory dish. I've been trying gluten-free alternatives, none are too impressive, they do enough to keep me happy - just....

Seed: Feel free to play around with different seeds. Except for the psyllium seed husk, chia seeds, and flax seeds. You cannot substitute these seeds, they help to provide the bread's texture and bind all the ingredients together. Cashew nuts bring good amounts of protein and fiber to the bread, along with lots of essential minerals. Dried fruits The brine method sounds reasonably easy - apparently the brine taste isn't conveyed into the butter. Secondly, we discovered that cheap sliced brown bread, in it's original plastic bag/wrapper lasts for at least a month. It is usable for both sandwiches or toast. I would suggest buying some and leaving it un-opened for a while, then tasting/testing it yourself to ascertain if this works for you. Psyllium husk is abulk-forming laxative. This means it soaks up water in yourgutand makesbowel movementsmuch easier and can help promote regularity without increasingflatulence. It can be used as a one-off to ease constipation, or it can be added to your diet to help promote regularity and overalldigestive health. Psyllium is aprebiotic— a substance needed for healthy colonies of probioticsto grow in the gut.

Sunflower seeds are the fruit of the sunflower plant and what better way to bring some sunshine to your life-changing bread? They bring lots of healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. You realize how easy it is to make delicious and healthy bread at home. No yeast, kneading, or flour is needed. Pumpkin seeds are a nutritional powerhouse, full of valuable nutrients. They contain a substantial amount of protein and antioxidants.

Developing healthier eating habits, while learning new cooking skills and techniques will change our life, and for the better for the most part. 2 reasons why this recipe may change your life In my scuba diving days, to keep booze cool we used to hang sealed containers inside 'goodie bags' below the upper thermocline. Worked great, even on the hottest of days in the Med. Not very practical when underway, but great when at anchor. Bread is a staple commodity in every household, which is why we recognise the necessity of providing an alternative option for those with coeliac disease. This is the most challenging part of the recipe, believe me! Once you have all the ingredients and a weighing scale, the rest is a walk in the park. Grain
